Ancestral Anecdotes

In this work, presented in a show called Ancestral Anecdotes in 2002 I explore my own identity through the incorporation of objects
collected by my ancestors. With these objects I create a sensual and intellectual link with generations I only knew through stories, photographs and memories. Fabric acts as the medium that holds this conversation together bringing it to a tangible reality created out of imagination and remembrance.
